This isn’t a blog in the usual sense – instead, this is the beginnings of what I fondly imagined would one day be a book. It might yet evolve into exactly that, but for now it is tiptoeing out into the world as some shared musings from a Celebrant with stories to share.
I have worked as a Celebrant for almost a decade and my delight in sharing the life stories and love stories of those I meet has only grown across those 10 years. With more than a thousand ceremonies conducted, I have been the trusted keeper of a secret or two and the voice of a rich diversity of stories told to mark the end of a life or told to celebrate the act of union.
